For Ian

Uma pausa nos posts mais 'sérios' no La Colméia. Esse poema eu fiz exatamente o ano passado quando completavam-se 30 anos sem Ian Curtis, eterno frontman do Joy Division. Particularmente eu gosto desse poema e apesar de não estar no contexto do blog, fica aqui a nossa homenagem (pois sei que todos que escrevem por aqui gostam de Joy Division). You could have lived.

You could have hold your impulses and break the Isolation.

You could have lived another Twenty Four Hours.

You could have wasted your time with those Dead Souls.

You could have listened to The Sound Of Music just one more time.

You could have lived another three Decades.

But all you would have seen is the Disorder.

And the world breaking like Glass.

You would have seen a world on a constant Day Of The Lords.

A world afraid of exposing it's Failures.

So tonight we make this Ceremony.

We celebrate The Eternal you became.

We understand that the Atmosphere was too much for you.

We understand why Love Will Tear Us Apart.
